Measure

Enum Measure

Source
pub enum Measure {
    App,
    Clean,
    Optimised,
}
Expand description

How the small-signal response H is measured.

Variants§

§

App

Exactly as the official app: one 8192-sample run from the model’s reset state, DC blocker starting from zero. Below ~100 Hz the blocker’s start-up transient dominates (docs/05), so the low bass of the result follows that transient rather than the model.

§

Clean

The excitation played twice and measured on the second, steady-state period: no transient, the model’s actual small-signal response at every frequency. Departs from the app on purpose, and uploads only the taps the pedal runs (upload_data).

§

Optimised

Clean, then G1/G2 fitted with a simulation of the pedal until it sounds like the model (super::optimise). About a minute per model (optimised build). Closer to the model than the app’s conversion on hardware (docs/05); the default for Device::import_nam_file.
