User Guide
Marbble is a digital audio workstation modelled on Logic Pro. This guide is organised like Logic’s manual: it starts with setting up and recording, then covers editing, the editors, mixing, exporting, project management, and ends with a complete reference of settings and key commands.
Keyboard convention. Marbble runs on Linux, Windows and macOS. In this guide Ctrl means ⌘ (Command) and Alt means ⌥ (Option) on macOS; Shift is Shift everywhere. So “Ctrl+D” is Ctrl+D on Linux and Windows and ⌘D on macOS. A few commands use the Control key on macOS, as Logic does; for those both forms are given, for example “Ctrl+R (Control+R on macOS)”.
Marbble shows shortcuts the way your platform does: “Ctrl+Shift+Z” on Linux and Windows, “⇧⌘Z” on macOS. That applies to menus, tooltips and Settings › Key Commands, and tooltips follow any keys you reassign there.
